This is the research diary of researcher Lisbeth Klastrup, since february 2001 sharing her thoughts on life, universe, persistent online worlds, games, interactive stories and internet oddities with you on the www.

I am currently on leave from the IT University of Copenhagen, and from aug. 2006 - aug. 2007 working as Associate Research Professor at the Center for Design Research Copenhagen, an independant center situated at the School of Architecture. During this year, I will be working on a book about the development of aesthetics, design and interaction on the WWW, together with colleague Ida Engholm.

My blog often reflects how busy I am in general, so posting may be pretty irregular, as well as my potential response to comments. But I read them!

Talk to me!
It seems like Blogger has realised that it was falling way behind a lot of other blogging services. So it has just relaunched its website, including the possibility to add a comment function and a site feed. And thus saving me a lot of time - as I have for a long time considered how to get comments without going through the hassle of changing blog provider. With a little bit of tinkering with the code, it even seems to work. I think you can do a bit more fancy stuff with it, but that will be another day.
*big grin*

Comments:
At least it seem to do. Am I a happy camper?!!

yes you are~!

But somewhat cleverly - they won't let me link to my own blog UNLESS I have a blogger account. They are forcing me to be anonymous!

:-(

Now all those secret fans will finally speak up! the s.

I agree with Elin that forcing people to create a Blogger account just because you want to make a simple non-anonymous comment is not optimal.
I use HaloScan and it seems to work fine for me :) It took around 5 minutes to install.

...and by the way - it's nice to FINALLY be able to commenting your blog posts, sweet Lisbeth!

Hugs

hmmh - I didn't know about Blogger not allowing people to link to their own blogger, unless it is a Blogger blog. Hopefully, they will make amends for this! I know they have some more advanced tags to put in the comment-code, will look into that as soon as I have time!

I cant get the code to work - what kind of tinkering did you do?

Actually I think they're pretty smart to make people have Blogger accounts - it'll stop the spam before it starts. Movable Type have introduced TypeKey, which similarly will require commenters to have an account in a central database thing. Although I the blogger can say no, my comments are open.

Or perhaps the reason I don't mind is that logging in to blogger I discovered all my forgotten blogs. Which I hastily hid from the view of the casual observer.

:)
